Tagging stats — what each label means

If you use Glory League on web (mobile or desktop), you can add advanced stats to your games using tags. Each tag also creates a matching highlight clip.

When tagging your game video, each stat uses the same short label shown in the tagging tool. Points are usually imported from the scoring app, while other stats are added manually after the game. All tagged stats update the game, box score, and season leaderboards.

Stats can be tagged to individual players or recorded as team stats where no single player should be credited.

Fouls are created in the scoring app and are not available in the tagging tool.

Shot tagging

These labels are used for all scoring attempts.

1PT — Free throw made

2PT — Made shot inside the three-point line

3PT — Made shot outside the three-point line

1PM — Missed free throw

2PM — Missed shot inside the three-point line

3PM — Missed shot outside the three-point line

Other stats

AST (Assist) — Credited to a player whose pass directly creates the scoring opportunity. The pass must create the advantage, even if the scorer takes limited movement before shooting.

BLK (Block) — Credited when a defender makes clear contact with the ball during a shot attempt and the shot is missed. If a foul occurs, no block is awarded.

STL (Steal) — Credited when a defender gains possession by taking the ball from a player or intercepting a pass. This results in a turnover for the opposing team.

O REB (Offensive Rebound) — Credited when a player gains possession after a missed shot by their own team.

D REB (Defensive Rebound) — Credited when a player gains possession after a missed shot by the opposing team.

TO (Turnover) — Credited when possession is lost to the opposing team, either through an error or defensive action.

Team stats

Team stats are used when no individual player should be credited. Instead of selecting the player when choosing the tag, select only the team and it will add the stat to the team instead of a player.

This applies when possession changes without clear control by a single player, or when the responsible player cannot be identified from the video.

These stats count toward the game totals but are not assigned to a player profile.
